创意集会组织周末第六度出击

创意集会组织“KillTheBill.org”将在本周末发动第6场抗议《2011年和平集会法案》的集会,今次广邀民众透过乘搭轻快铁、为大马许愿方式,抗议国会通过新法。
这场集会名为“大马人可在轻快铁内往双塔楼时许新年愿望,无需警察准证”(Malaysians can Make New Year Wishes on LRT to KLCC without Police Permit)。
集会者受促在本周末下午1点在吉隆坡中环轻快铁月台处集会,然后搭上轻快铁赴双塔楼内一间餐馆--Ben's。
“KillTheBill.org”已经在社交网站面子书宣传这项集会活动。
勿写激进党派愿望
该组织也在面子书专业表明,他们不欢迎集会者在汽球上写下激进及涉及党派(partisan)的愿望,例如“我祈望XXX在大选中输掉”。
面子书专业也阐明,集会者可以以各种语文写下对国家的期望。
该组织其中2名召集人彭思慧与政治学者黄进发,也透过文告呼吁民众踊跃参加。
黄进发与彭思慧在文告中说,他们选择在本周末搭公共交通,以突显民众在这种情况下也可以进行和平集会,尽管这是不被和平集会法案所允许。
现场派糖果给搭客
“民众可以身穿黄衣,或携带同黄色汽球、黄花或国旗。黄色代表新闻自由、干净与公平选举、集会自由。”
黄彭说,集会者也可以为这个国家想一个新年愿望,然后写在黄色汽球上,届时他们也会派糖果给现场的观众或搭客。
“抵达双塔楼后,集会者也会拿着汽球结伴走向双塔楼一间餐馆--Ben's,享用咖啡、茶及自制的巧克力,同时交流彼此的新年愿望。”
他们表示,“KillTheBill.org”一再证明,示威对经济带来良性发展。
“KillTheBill.org”成员黄进发与6人曾于本月8日接获双塔楼律师信,后者恫言申请庭令禁止他们在双塔楼集会。
冀双塔楼不阻集会
他们说,他们上周末发动在12个地点串联发动的集会,吸引了逾300人赴会,集会者在双塔楼一点餐馆内替其中一人庆祝生日,当天消费就花了逾900令吉。
“我们冀望双塔楼管理层不会阻止我们在周末喝咖啡、吃巧克力,因为在任何一个平常国家享用咖啡与巧克力,是不会干扰公共安宁的。”
黄彭透过,新法削减了联邦宪法所赋民众的权利,进而破坏民主自由,同时逼迫异议份子保持沉默,这可助长国家的滥权腐败风气。

Venue/Assembly points (you can join at any locations below, we will be on the move):
KLSentral LRT station platform (towards KLCC direction): 1 pm
KLCC LRT station exit (ticket gates): estimated 1.45 – 2 pm (depending on the arrival of participants)
Ben’s KLCC (Restaurant at Lot 140 First Floor, right next to escalator, overlooking fountain) [If you are early, please go in and book a table or two, because we couldn’t make reservations. If this place is full or being blocked, we will go to the food court or The Apartment (at the entrance of the fountain, turn left (if you are facing the fountain) and walk to the end of the row of restaurants)]

Brief timeline:
1 pm – Assemble at KLSentral LRT station, at the train platform upstairs, blow balloons and write New Year wishes on balloons.
1.20 pm – Begin to embark LRT towards KLCC (we may not be able to get into the same coach because of the heavy traffic on New Year eve and Saturday), whoever leave KLSentral early or late, just wait at the exit gate of KLCC LRT station (outside ticket gate).
1.45 - 2 pm – Walk together towards Ben’s (Lot 140 First Floor, Suria KLCC, right next to escalator, overlooking fountain), might need to que due to large crowd on New Year eve
2.10 – 2.30 pm – Settle down at Ben’s, order drinks/snacks/lunch…share chocolates and mingle. Photo taking of participants and their wishes on balloons, interesting ones will be sent to the media (with participant’s consent).
3 – 3.30 pm (depending on situation, will play by ear) – Pay and walk down to fountain area, take group photo with twin towers as backdrop, sing Negaraku and dismiss (singing of national anthem will depend on situation, in case security guards or KLCC management comes to disturb or disperse us)
What you need to bring:
• a bag/pack of candies/sweets wrapped with yellow packaging (eg. Hudson, Hacks, etc.), we will let you know what we are going to do with them at KLSentral
• Yellow balloons
You can buy the balloons from us on Saturday RM3 for 1 pair (2 balloons + 2 sticks + holders) [proceeds will be used to run our activities] or here:

(RM31.90/100 pcs (non-metallic), RM35.90/100pcs (metallic), balloon sticks and holder are sold at RM0.40 per pair (stick + holder). They also sell 50 pcs for RM17.90 and 20 pcs for RM8.90 (non-metallic).
• Permanent market pen(s) to write your wish(es) for the country on the yellow balloon. (Wishes on balloons should be targeted for the country, and non-partisan. Eg. “I wish for a safer country to live in”, “I wish for freedom to assemble”, “I wish for corruption-free government”, (also wishes in Malay) etc…Partisan and aggressive messages are not welcome. Eg. “I wish for xxx to lose in elections”, etc.
• Touch N Go card, if you are joining us at KLSentral
• Malaysian flags or yellow flowers if you like
Dress code
Anything YELLOW (yellow shirt, pants, shoes, caps, bags, etc…)
We do not encourage:
• placards, posters, chanting, shouting or disturbing traffic and others. This is a peaceful assembly. Even though we don’t foresee police intervention or stopping us from entering the trains or KLCC, it is better to be vigilant, so please move and act in order and as quiet as possible. If police stops and questions you, just tell them that we’re going to KLCC for a New Year party. We have contacted human rights lawyers from Bar Council so they will be on standby in case any chaos arises.
